Anonymous asked: 1,5 and 9!!!

1: Take a picture of your workspace.

(I recently got a new desk so I am still very excited about it haha)

(I also didn’t do those watercolors lol)

5: Who/what inspires you?

Indie comics, animated movies and shows, manga…. old fashion/costume/clothing (obviously haha)

As for people, Hiromu Arakawa, Kaoru Mori, Emily Caroll, Marjane Satrapi and Kate Beaton are some of my fav storytellers/comic artists that come to mind (although I’m forgetting many others rn)

There are some illustrators I like too but I feel weird noting them here BECAUSE ALL I POST IS COMICS AND SCRIBBLES my art does not reflect them at all haha

Ivan Bilibin, Edward Penfield, Will Bradley, Gennady Spirin, Hiroshi Yoshida, Mary Blair, Kay Nielsen, Erté, Georges Barbier, Coles Phillips Paul Felix and Kate Baylay

9: Favorite thing to draw?

this shit

Expressions (more specifically Esfir making stupid expressions), CHARACTER INTERACTIONS, little comic/stories that just remain rough sketches/thumbnails and will never see the light of day… I’d rather make a little comic/story/character interaction than do a polished pic (and it shows haha) I get really impatient when I’m just working on one thing I like doing scenes or sequences and just people interacting I JUST CAN’T DRAW CHARACTERS STANDING THERE ….. THEY NEED TO BE DOING SOMETHING
