Esfir left behind her mother when she died and she feels pretty bad about since Esfir was all her mother had left. It was pretty rough when she was trying to move on after she died so she was stuck as a spirit near her home for awhile.
Faas had a wife he left behind but they did not get along at all so when he died it was pretty much like a “good riddance” for both of them and they moved on pretty fast.
