here’s to hoping its all a clever ruse and that they’re concealing the True Character Designs to be unveiled at a strategic point in advertizing and the whole design team is in an elaborate control room underneath the ocean sipping cognac and cackling at the internet’s response to these.

Here’s hoping that this is early concept art and not the final design.  I really don’t like this look very much.  It’s like they ripped the girls’ face straight off of the new Tinkerbell movies.  And of course she’s stick thin, even though she lives in an environment where having some meat on your bones would make sense.  If you’re not ready for a fat (or even curvy) heroine Disney, can we at least have one with reasonably normal human proportions???

 The guy is ok.  At least even here some kind of personality is shining through.  And I like that he is SLIGHTLY burlier and less conventionally attractive than the generic Disney Princes are.  Still lots of room for improvement, though.

THEY BETTER NOT DISAPPOINT ME ON THE ICE QUEEN.  I read that this is supposed to be a “musical comedy” and now I’m concerned.  :|
